For large electrical users located in Ontario - reducing your electrical demand can result in significant cost reductions on your electricity bill.  Known as peak shaving or (more affectionately) "Global Adjustment (GA) Busting", reducing a facility's 5 coincident peaks can result in annual savings of >$500,000 per MW (all figures in CAD) by reducing the "Global Adjustment" portion of your bill.

I recently gave a presentation on how this can be done, and why using behind-the-meter natural gas power generators is an ideal approach to accomplish peak shaving / GA Busting.
